4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL database) with encryption. We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, password hashing, and row-level security policies.

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your data: Download all your data in JSON format
  • Rectify your data: Update your apartment information anytime
  • Erase your data: Delete your account and all associated data
  • Data portability: Export your data in a machine-readable format
  • Withdraw consent: Delete your account at any time

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We only share data with service providers necessary to operate our service: Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (web hosting). All providers are GDPR-compliant.

7. Cookies

CheckInKit uses only essential cookies to operate the service:

  • Authentication cookies: Required for login and session management (Supabase Auth)
  • Security cookies: CSRF protection and secure communication

We do NOT use analytics cookies, marketing cookies, or third-party tracking cookies. No cookie consent banner is required as we only use strictly necessary cookies under GDPR Article 6(1)(b).
